THE PROJECT

Home is Here Campaign

THE ROLE & THE WORK

Located in New York City, The Africa Center exists as a cultural bedrock focused on centering people across Africa and the African diaspora by pushing our history, heritage, and influence to the forefront of their programming. The purpose of the campaign was to drive a deeper understanding of the role and importance of the brand and to expand its digital footprint globally, welcoming new members into its growing community. Highlighting the eclectic communities the brand serves, the campaign included a short film and a social campaign, serving as an open invitation for audiences to come home to The Africa Center, a place that provides a sense of belonging for many.

For this project, I served as both creative director and designer. From conception to execution, I collaborated with internal and external teams on the look and feel of the campaign, film, the styling of the talent, location scouting, and social media assets.
