THE PROJECT

Juneteenth at Droga5 Film

THE ROLE & THE WORK

For the first time ever, Droga5 recognized Juneteenth as an agency wide holiday to celebrate the annual commemoration of the end of slavery in the United States after the Civil War. The goal of this type-forward film was to show that Juneteenth isn’t just another day in June, but a day that reminds us to keep fighting for Black freedom.

For this project, I served as a designer. From conception to execution, I collaborated with the teams on inspiration for the film, provided guidance on typography, and designed layouts.
