Afropunk Festival is an annual arts festival that features music, film, fashion, and art produced by alternative Black artists.
THE ROLE & THE WORK
For Afropunk, I served as a designer. Taking into account that the brand already had very strong visual identity, I had to find ways to push the boundaries without stepping outside of those parameters. For the Johannesburg stop, I created our festival line up that was used across print and digital mediums. This included social assets, flyers, website banners, and window vinyls.
